SeaNymph™ - a product of nature created to preserve nature - based on tradition and designed for the future Seaweed is the most traditional source of organic fertiliser. As far back as the 19th century, sports grounds and other areas used for growing plants and produce were being organically fertilised with seaweed. SeaNymph™ is the culmination of the all-round knowledge of the properties of seaweed which we have gained through more than 80 years' first-hand experience in the field, combined with a deep understanding of current lawn-care needs. This allows us to offer a product range that is finely-tuned to meet today's practical requirements. SeaNymph™ uses natural solutions to bring lawn maintenance up to maximum levels of performance. SeaNymph™ makes exclusive use of knotted wrack (Ascophyllum nodosum), which is only found in the North Atlantic. We harvest this seaweed on the west coast of Ireland. Careful selection and cutting by hand ensure both top quality and sustainable growth of the donor plant. SeaNymph™ seaweed fertiliser contains 60 trace elements and natural, growth-enhancing vitamins and amino acids. Between 55% and 65% of the product's dry weight is made up of key carbohydrates, laminarin, fucoidan, alginic acid and other important substances. Ascophyllum nodosum is the best-researched species of seaweed currently in use for the nutrition and protection of plants. While initial investigations focussed on mineral content, further research and experiences gained over the intervening years have revealed the presence of such items as growth hormones, chemical release agents and so on, which has helped to explain why plants react to stimuli in so many different ways. Release agents operate at extremely low concentrations, and seaweed is a rich source of these substances. SeaNymph™, which has meanwhile become our brand, signifying quality and performance, has conquered the world's golf courses and football pitches. Several famous courses and stadiums, along with many less-renowned ones, have many years' standing as our customers.
